Point Transfer Wanted: Need 500 points for 12/09 reservation

I am interested in obtaining 500 points via transfer in order to book a December 2009 vacation at Beach Club Villas and/or Villas at Wilderness Lodge. Thank you.

I can transer 200 points from WL now. My use year is Aug, so I can make a 300 point reservation at WL in December for you now. You could complete the rest of the reservation with 200 points from somewhere else.

I'm asking $9 per point.

No, but transferred points can be borrowed as I stated in my message. If I transfer my 2010 points to you, they could be borrowed back to 2009 following my use year.

No you would be having to borrow your 2010 to be able to transfer them and you cannot do that. You cannot borrow points to transfer to someone else for them to use they have to be current use year to be able to transfer them. Banked or borrowed points Cannot be transferred but transferred points from the current use year can be banked if they are within the banking window.

Well, I spoke with DVC recently about this and they said yes, you can transfer your 2010 points and the receiver can borrow them.

I have 150 points from 10/2008 use year - SSR. All can be banked by end of May. Will sell for $9.50 a point.

LOL, I am sorry but go over to DVC board on here and post the question and see what the answer is. Whomever you spoke with must have misunderstood you as that is not even an option. You could borrow your points and make a reservation for someone but you cannot borrow points to transfer to someone.

Thanks. I guess I can book a trip in December at Villas at Wilderness Lodge (VWL) now and transfer in points for remainder of trip (as I know only one transfer is allowed per year). If your points are still available, I can get you the dates to see if they are available at VWL.
