Point transaction for successful waitlist request

Hi,
I had a wait list request for a single night in May 2021 that was successfully booked yesterday afternoon. Interestingly, it didn't remove any points from my account. I've checked my three contracts and they're all same as before the wait list and there are no new transactions in the tracking history tab. I did not have any purchased points.

Does it take a few a few days to deduct the points? I would have guessed it is instant.

I had a waitlist come through yesterday and the points were deducted immediately.

Did you have it replace a night you already have booked? If you did, that would account for it. If not, then its a strange situation as it does pull points immediately.

No, I didn't have it replace anything either.

I called MS this morning but wait was estimated 45 minutes and I'm not THAT desperate to have them deduct points.

Did you check the actual points activity statement and not just dashboard? That should show exaclty what happened.
