I have a few bookings at my home resort booked with direct points. I'm in ROFR for a resale contract at my home resort that has expiring 2021 points. When the points post to my account, can I switch out one of the existing reservations that I used 2022 points to book with the banked 2021 points that will expire in May of 2023. Can I call in to do that?

Thanks!

Maybe.

Not if you booked RIV or you used 7-11 month priority (if the resort is different). Or if the member number is different (different UY, different names, etc). Or if you are too close to the reservation, or I'm sure there are bunch more fun exceptions.

If it’s same resort..and not RIV…then yes, assuming it’s the same membership.

You can even do it online. Modify your trip, click on the new contract..the current one will be locked..so both are checked…and follow to the end..it will pick up banked points.

If I add on a resale contract, will it go into my currect direct membership? I thought you couldn't combine those even with same UY

Contracts never combine but if the owners and UY are the same, it will be added to the membership. They will be listed with the same base number and then .001, .002. Etc

You can then use both contracts at 7 month or less to book any of the resorts, except RIV which resale points are no longer eligible if purchased now.

It is the points that determine the status of the membership. I have both resale and direct points in one membership but it is eligible for membership extras because I have 150 direct point contract.
