Point Logistics Question

Ok hope I will explain this correctly. I am making my 11 month reservations tommorrow. Here are the details:
I have 9 points banked from 2010
I have 175 points for 2011 and 175 for 2012.
I am booking tommorrow for April 2011. I have not completely decided on how many days I am staying but will decide long before points would go into holding.
I think I want to stay 4 nights which is 200 points. So I will need to borrow 16 points from 2012. If I only stay 3 it is only 153 points. So If I book tommorrow the 4 nights (it is spring break so cant take the chance of adding a night later) I know I can't unborrow points but can I instruct MS if I change my reservation to use the borrowed and banked points first and then I would have 47 points left in 2011 which I could then bank into 2012?

Yes, you can do that. You don't mention your UY but the other thing to keep in mind is if you do cancel a night you need to do that prior to your banking deadline as well as the holding deadline.
