Does anyone have, or have a pointer to, a year-by-year history of DVC point costs and increases? My curiosity is raised by the recent increase to $89.

Wow, it is amazing, the DVC purchase price is increasing at a faster rate as the years have gone by and there is less life to the contract.
From 1991 - 1999 $48.94 - $65.00, increase of $16.06 in 8 yrs
From 1999 - 2003 $65.00 - $84.00, increase of $19.00 in 4 yrs!
ONLY Disney could pull this one off! LOL!!

do you think that the 6 dvc resorts, will stay at $84 per point, for the rest of their 38 year lifetimes.?

and the only price increase, will be on DVC II/SSR&S, since it has a 50 year lifetime??

No..................IMO you will see $100 a pt

within 2 years if the travel industry doesn't have any setbacks(terrorism,etc)

I guess the inventory they will be selling will come from ROFR contracts purchased and any they take back by default.

Would DVC ever sell the 2% ownership that I believe they maintain in the resorts? Or is that there for legal and inventory purposes?

the 2% ownership affords the the ability to refurbish the rooms on a rotating basis.
