Point Charts for 2014 not available?

How does that happen? Why would that be when the booking windows are already into 2014, or do the point charts follow the use years for points and not calendar years? How does one book a trip for the next year with no idea as to points?

I can't check this as I am only at GFV which DO have point charts released for 2014

All of the 2014 DVC resort charts are available on the member website? Are you talking about a different collection?

I agree - the point charts for all the resorts for 2014 are on the member website. 2015 has not been released yet.

Or - for a point calculator this is my preferred tool to use over the charts.

If you're referring to the point charts here on the DIS remember that this is not the official DVC site. However, although it indicates only having the 2013 charts if you click on those links it will show you both the 2013 and the 2014.

Other than VGF, the 2014 point charts for DVC resorts are also available on this site by going to upper right corner of a DVC thread page and clicking on "DVC Point Charts." When it first opens it gives a list of resorts for "2013." However, click on any resort and you get the charts for both 2013 and 2014.

DVC resort point charts have always available by no later than January 25 for the next calendar year (Jan 26 is the first time you can reserve the next Jan 1 11 months out by reserving 7 nights beginning Dec 26). Usually they are available by December, e.g., the 2014 charts came out in December 2012, but sometimes they come as late as mid-Jan -- that has occurred when they were making point shifts, such as when they raised the points needed for weekdays and lowered them for weekends.

Disney Collection charts for such things as the Disney hotels other than DVC have a different schedule and usually do not show up until July or August for the next calendar year.

Did you not get the member book awhile back with the new point charts? If not, they are available on the member site and actually, as I notice now, on this site too.
