I think you meant between now and 12/26/2016. Anyone booking at the 11-month window for a stay that starts 12/26/2017 and includes dates for Jan. 1, 2018 (& beyond) would need to know the 2018 points by then.

What are you looking far? Other than if there is a reallocation, it really shouldn't matter. All other costs can be anticipated from the current charts.

I too am wondering about a 2018 charts because we are planning travel the week of April 15th 2018-- with a floating holiday such as Easter you can make a pretty good guess as to what season it will fall in from historical points charts, but i guess DVC can always change their mind. There could also be point reallocation too that may affect planning for your trip if point amounts have changed. So I can see that even that far in advance the 2018 points charts can be very important in the planning use of points.

IMO the only issue that can't be completely anticipated is the points reallocation. Even if they changed the days related to holidays, they'd almost certainly have to do so as part of a true reallocation like changing early Dec. I think one can do reasonable planning in anticipation for DVC points charts but it won't hurt to double check once the charts come out. But the reason I asked the question is some don't know how to anticipate the charts related to holidays and I thought it possible we could help with that if the case.

For 2018 the dates will be 25 March through 7 April premier with the rest Magic in March and April Magic.
