Point allocation from two contacts in same UY

So I recently purchased two 100 point contracts (same resort and same UY) with 2019 points that were banked into 2020 UY, so each contract has 200 available points (100 banked and 100 "current")

I'm looking to make a four night reservation that uses 109 banked points. When booking it looks like the system pulls 100 banked points and 9 current UY points from same contract instead of pulling 9 banked points from the second contract.

I realize I could book three nights with one contract and then one night with the second contract, but over time I'll end up with orphan banked points in each contact that are not enough on own to book a night without combining with banked points from the other contract.

Is there an easier way to allocate / first use banked from two contracts before tapping into current use year points? Ideally choose X points from one contract and Y points from second contract?

I had thought points at same resort same UY would be treated like on big pool of points, but that seems incorrect.

I haven't signed my contract yet so I could rewrite into a 200 point contract if needing to make easier to book.

From what I’ve read back to 2019, it might be a strange bug, shows points from one contract but if look at your point allocation totals it actually pulled the banked points from both contracts.

As long as both contracts are checked it will pull banked from both once you actually book.
No idea why it does that in terms of what it shows

After booking, check the points summary on the screen before you go
back to the dashboard and you will see it done correctly

As long as both contracts are titled the same way with the same UY, you should be able to easily combine the points. But if they are not the same UY or are titled differently, you'll have to transfer from one to the other. Each contract will maintain their UY and resort. If they are all the same resort, you can combine them without a problem.

Yes, you should be able to do this. I have 5 Bwv contracts all in one account and I click all that have banked points and it always takes them first.

I made the reservation and it's showing 109 points taken from one contract ("1.0") and zero taken from second contract ("1.1").

Maybe some glitch? When I look at balances in UY 2020 it shows 191 points remaining in 1.0 and 100 remaining in 1.1., as though 1.0 had 300 points and 109 booking reduced to 191. If that's true it seems liked both sets of 100 banked points from 1.0 and 1.1 both went into 1.0 (leaving 300 and 100 points instead of 200 and 200). Weird. I'll follow up with MS this week to confirm.

If you had 200 banked points, 100 in each, with total of 400, it took 100 from one of them, leaving 100, and then 9 from the other, which leaves you 191, 91 which are still banked,

So, it seems like it pulled the way it should have and left you with what it should have left you.

Spoke with MS today. While everyone was correct about what's "supposed" to happen, it appears there is a glitch at time of confirmation page that incorrectly displays how points are pulled, but the point allocation / point management page shows the correct distributions, as Wedgeout surmised.
