Point Add-ons question

I have a question regarding point add-ons once one becomes a member. How difficult is it to add points? If I buy into Bay Lake Tower and it becomes "sold out" doesn't that mean that there are no more points to be had, even for add-ons. At that point I would need to find a resale if I wanted to add more points correct? Or once I make the minimum buy-in, am I "in" and able to add additional points at any time? I hope this doesn't sound too confusing!

Once a resort is "sold out", you can still add on thorugh Disney if they have points available to sell. They acquire contracts back when they exercise their ROFR option in the resale market.

So, while you are not guaranteed to get more points, you should be able to get something..you may have to just wait a bit.

Of course, once it is sold out, the contracts will hit the resale market so there will always be that option.

Disney always seem to have points available at all the resorts but at a higher price. As stated they get them from ROFR and also from foreclosures and defaults.

Available buy resale or direct, I wouldn't worry about it.
