just got back from a week at POFQ

I loved the resort, it is beautiful and most important...QUIET....its a real nice break from the parks. The pool was sometimes crowded but there was always a seat....the walkways, etc were completely empty most of the time....food court was never full.

there were only a couple drawbacks...the pillows gave me a headache every night...but that may just be me. We walked out one afternoon adn the maid had left a big bag of nasty garbage right on our doorstep....when we got back later that night it was still there so I called to have it removed...when we woke up it was STILL there...so I went to guest services...they finally took care of it. I was not very impressed with the food court, but I guess it serves the purpose.

I also found the beignets to be VERY overrated

Hey! We just got back from POFQ yesterday! We stayed in bldg 7 facing the river. I do not think there were any people in the rooms around us all week.

Yep, we tried the beignets, too. Only once! We are from New Mexico and they reminded us of sopapillas only covered in powdered sugar and much tougher! Yuck!

We ate breakfast in the food court several times (mostly I carried it back to the room).

This is one of our favorite resorts and we weren't disappointed at all and are thinking of another quick trip around Thanksgiving.

VERY tough to chew...thats exactly what we thought

I bought a dozen...we threw away 9 of them
