POFQ- when will it reopen?

I know this has been asked before, but we just returned yesterday and are planning another trip for next year ( just can't stand to be away!). We loved POFQ 4 years ago, but I know it is closed now. Does anyone know when it is supposed to reopen?

I've read that it will be closed for 2 years, so that would mean it won't open until 2005. But I'm not positive on this.

From my understanding, the renovations of both sides of the Port Orleans is going to take years. When I was there in August, a cast member on the boat to Downtown Disney told me that the rooms in the French Quarter would be finished by mid-December, and the resort would most likely open in the spring. Of course, things with Disney are always subject to change, so who knows if this information is still accurate?

When I was there the end of September, the boat captain was saying that POFQ would be re-opening in late spring early summer.
I am hoping this is true as we will be in WDW the end of June and I would love to stay there.
