We LOVE POFQ. It is a small, quiant resort with a relaxed feel. Here is a link to a map of the resort from this site- it's a great map!

We have always asked for a room close to the bus stop and have only stayed in building 3- and loved it. I would think buildings 3,4,5, or 2 would all be close to the food court and bus stop. There is only one bus stop- in front of the resort to the left (looking at the resort). Most buildings are only a short walk. Buildings one and seven look to be the most remote- but I haven't stayed in those and can't help you there. The buses stop at POFQ before they go to POR and also drop you off first at night- so I've never had to stand on a bus here- unless I gave up my seat to someone who needed it more. If the bus is full when it leaves POFQ, it will often go straight to the park and not even go to POR- I guess it just depends on how crowded the buses are at the time of your visit. You will love the decorations at POFQ. The food court is good- I'd rank it average. You must try the beignets for breakfast!!! Yummy!
I don't know about the boat to DTD, we've always traveled with my parents and my mom cannot stand riding boats to places (even though she just went on an Alaskan cruise

). But, from what I've heard it is great! You can find the boat launch on the map also.
We absolutely love this resort! It is the perfect peaceful, small resort to return to after a long day in the parks!!! Have fun and I wish I were going. We are planning a trip next Dec and I asked DH if he wanted to try somewhere new (we've stayed at AKL, POR, and POFQ) and he said no way, POFQ it is going to be for us!!!
