When we stayed at POFQ in Feb., we ended up in a 3rd floor room in bldg #6. I was under the impression that the top 2 floors of #6 were smoking optional (in addition to #2 and #4). We definitely wanted to avoid smoke for health reasons. The CM who was checking us in told us that only bldg #2 is smoking optional now. I was skeptical, but decided to give it a go. And it ended up just fine, we did not smell even a hint of smoke in our room, or the areas outside our room.

When we go back to POFQ in a month, I'd like to try to get the same room/area in #6. But I don't want to end up discovering that it really IS still smoking optional... KWIM?

Does anyone know anything more about this? :)

This happened to us too. We were just there the week before Easter. We requetsed 4 rooms together when making our reservation. When we arrived, they had our party spread out in building 5. The CM said the only way she could get 4 rooms together is to move us to building 4. My DD has asthma and I said to the CM "isn't that a smoking building?" She said "no, only building 2 is smoking". We took the 4 rooms in building 4 and never had a probem with smoke or musty smelling rooms.

We were in building 4 last summer, and we too were told that only building 2 allowed smoking in the room, though people could smoke outside the rooms.
