POFQ Restraunt

When we stayed at POFQ in 1998, there was a sit down restraunt (Bon-somthing). We stayed there two times after 1998, and it was closed. We really missed it as it was a nice change to the fast food. We took the boat to POR to eat once, but it would be nice to have a sit down restraunt on the grounds of POFQ. Did they reopen the sit down restraunt after the resort rehab?

your restaurant choice is Boatright's at the Riverside side of the resort. Also Downtown Disney is an alternative.

Isn't it a bummer that it's not reopened?! I never ate there when it WAS open, but I see people here on the DIS rave about it so it must have been a good one! Maybe someday it'll come back........

It was Bonfamille's and it is missed. They had great meals all day long, wish they would reopen it.

I spoke with one of the managers at the POFQ a couple of weeks ago, and he mentioned that he is working to try to get the restaurant reopened. He said that the lack of a sit-down restaurant is the biggest complaint he hears about the resort. Hopefully he'll suceed in getting it reopened--I told him a nice cajun restaurant would be a nice addition to the resort.

We liked the food at Bonfamille's. It would be nice if they would reopen the restaurant.

I hope Disney listens to that manager and re-opens a sit down at POFQ! This is our 2nd favorite moderate after CSR and would be our 1st if they brought back the sit down!
