POFQ Renovation Question

Anyone know when POFQ was renovated or if it is due? We just made reservations for August 2008 for our Grand Gathering and one of my family members asked me. I figured this was the best place to find out!

It was renovated about 3 years ago, I think. The rooms are still in pretty good condition.

POFQ was completly closed for rennovations at the end of 2003 and the first part of 2004. We were staying at POR at the time and it sure was errie looking at a totaly empty resort, mainly at night on the boat ride to DTD.

We took a DTD boat ride one night and went past the closed resort. Man it was spooky. Yes they did renovations and finished them quickly bringing the resort back on line by about May or June 2004. I do not how often they renovate resorts but I would think this would not occur by your visit. We just stayed there in July this year and there was no apparent need to renovate at this time.

We just returned and the entire property looked great. I had never stayed @ POFQ before and really liked it. The only downside was the food court...it seemed to take forever as most of the food was cooked-to-order.

Thanks for all the info. We are on the dining plan so I don't believe we will be in the food court much, except for a quick breakfast and mug refills.
