POFQ question re: upgrades

We are staying at POFQ in three weeks for the first time! Does anyone know what upgrades are available at this resort? I am not trying to get a free upgrade - I will pay for it. I just don't know what to ask for. Thank you!!

There isn't really much that you can upgrade to at the POFQ. They basically just have standard and water view rooms.

The POFQ is a great resort, though. It's my favorite Disney resort--I've stayed there four times, and always had a great stay. I like staying in building four. It's just a minute or two walk to the bus stop and food court, and less than five to the boat dock and pool.

I agree...and unless you have a private balcony...does it really matter what your "view" is? plus - your curtains are closed 95% of the time in a moderate anyway.

We were in building 7 last September - the furtherst building away from the food court/pool/etc...but even that, it was like a 3-5 minute walk through some beautiful grounds to get there.

We stayed in POFQ at Christmas last year and had booked a standard room. I am assuming we were upgraded as we were in building 5 with a view of the hot tub and were a stones throw from the food court. It was a fantastic location.
