POFQ - Question about deliveries to room

My husband and I will be on our honeymoon this coming October and will be staying at POFQ. I want to have a basket sent to the hotel as a surprise is the Disney Florist able to delivery directly to the room?

We went for our Anniversary last summer, stayed at the Poly, ordered from WDW Florist. I understand from all the posts on the Dis, they do not "pre assign" rooms, so you check in and get your room assignment... knowing this I chose to have my arrangement delivered "after" check in... I know check in to be after "3pm" and we got to Disney before noon...

So while I got us out to the parks at 2, we returned, and there was our "surprise" floral arrangement, and bag with treats for DD (I also ordered from WDWflorist!)

I know Peggy from Peggysweets, aka feralpig has also posted she delivers to the front desk from 9am till noon... so if you arrive they note it on your ressie, and will give it to you upon check in... I prefer to have the element of "surprise"...

Ooh - this is going to be a tough decision - I also want the element of surprise and was going to have the basket delievered on the second day of our stay.

The tough part is I like both Peggy's designs and WDW florist. What do I do . Well, I have five months to make the decision.

I had little surprises for the kids from the Disney florist delivered to our room at POR over Spring Break. When we got there our room wasn't ready so I requested that they deliver it to our room while we were at the park and it was there when we got to the room.

I was just wondering if the desk will deliver gifts that you bring? For example, I have purchased special Miskey watches for the boys who will be in thrie own room. Will the resort deliver them? How would I go about making that happen? (I supposed I could just ask)

hmm... good question - I mean I bought a bunch of little things that I would want incorporated in a basket....so naturally, WDW florist seemed the obvious choice and they will deliver to the room.

Maybe, you could choose a small basket and ask them to add the watches. That's just a suggestion. If not I would say call the resort. boy, this business of making things a surprise is really hard work.
