POFQ or Riverside???????

Okay..so next trip I am staying at a moderate and it is a toss up btwn POFQ and Riverside...
Which do you like better and why??
We are a family of 3 (ds is 12).
We love disney..and go commando style . Ds loves to swim.
We will eat anything (not picky or distinguished eaters-lol)
Alright...bring it on....

We loved staying at FQ several years ago. It was small and quaint.. and perfect for our family.

BUT>>> one afternoon DH took my five year old to POR ( then Dixie Landings) and spent a few hours in the pool. Since then, that is all my son talks about. He has always wanted to go back to POR for the pool - and the boats.
Just the two of us are going for a "Mom and Me" trip in June.

I think if you are going for the pools and the recreation, POR may be the way to go.

How big is POFQ say compared to POP or the All Stars??
I hate walking around a big resort--at the all stars we always got stuck wayyyyy at the back!

I would say POFQ is smaller. I don't think it's a long walk from any where in the resort to the Food Court/pool.
The All-Stars have 1,920 rooms (each); POP has 2,880 so far; while POFQ has about 1,000.

Must be to early for me to be posting..I meant to ask how big is Riverside in relation to Pop or allstars...Nice to hear that POFQ is smaller-I like that idea!

POFQ, we like it because it is smaller and easy to get around. The theming is great, my sons love the serpent slide. Besides, you are able to use the POR grounds. We have stayed at both and they both are great. We are just partial to POFQ.

Just got back from FQ. Both are nice, FQ is more compact - short walk from anywhere to anywhere - and very quiet. Never felt crowded. Riverside is very elegant, grounds are beautiful, it's just more spread out so you'll be walking a lot. You can catch the boat from one to the other, or from either one to DTD.

We love FQ for most of the reasons mentioned above....it's beautiful and compact and really convenient....we had a great stay in January and are retunring in June...HTH....
