POFQ or POR

I'm trying to decide between staying at Port Orleans French Quarter or Port Orleans Riverside. We're going in July. Any opinions?

POFQ It's small and no matter what building you're in, it's just a short walk to everything. The buses pick up there first.

we like POFQ better than POR, of course if POR was all that was available we would definitley stay again.
It's Disney you can't go wrong

They are both nice resorts. I have about 100 photos between the two - but POFQ is smaller, I like the theming (I like Paris, so some of it reminds me of that), etc.

POR is larger - not huge, but more spread out. It also has more recreation options and the sit-down restaurant.

That said, it's not a long walk between the two resorts. I would go with theming more than anything (or if you prefer one pool to another, etc.).

Aside from bus service to the parks, Dixie Landings/POR will always be my favorite moderate. My wife and I have stayed at Dixie Landing since 1992 and love the natural beauty and amenities of this wonderful resort.

Never have had one problem with cleaniness problems at either POR or POFQ.

POFQ is very compact, so it is great for those who value not having to walk long distances. The theming is great at both resorts. I would probably choose POFQ because it has only one bus stop and the bus stops there before continuing on to POR. Overcrowded bus transports can be an issue at these resorts during busy seasons.

Yes - you can use any of the pools, either of the food courts, etc.
