POFQ or POR or POP?

Myself, DH and DS - 2 1/2 at time of trip have booked POFQ for our eight night vacation; however, it looks like we are not going to get FD. It looks like discounts for French Quarter are very low, too, so I'm thinking of switching either to POR or POP. We could save much more money that way. We have stayed at Wilderness Lodge and offsite. My main question is, is Pop Century a big downgrade from a moderate? Is POR really worth the extra cost? I'm thinking our son may prefer the atmosphere of a value, but are the values much further away from the parks than the moderates? WL was really convenient last year when we took him. How convenient is transportation?
