Thinking about staying at POFQ in Sept.. Where are the rooms with king beds located? I was told they have a "varied" view??? Any place I should request? I would hate to look out and see the parking lot!!! Its our honeymoon. Thanks !!!!
Sorry, not sure where the kind beds are located but you will LOVE POFQ....DH and I satyed there in Jan and are going back in June...can't wait....it's so pretty, quiet and definitely romantic....have fun and congratulations
My dh and I stayed there for our honeymoon. I can't believe that they would not get you a good view for your honeymoon if you tell them that it is during checkin and make a request. They were great to us, our first dinner at Boatrights (POR) they brought us out a cake!

We are also going to POFQ for our honeymoon (end of October-November). We had our travel agent request the king bed for us and riverview - it is also suggested that you mention it is your honeymoon on arrival to the resort but I really can't imagine that they wouldn't grant the request on such a special occassion.
Not sure how much I helped with the answer to your question - Good luck and Congratulations!!!
I am a little confused. How can you have a view if there are outside corridors? Don't they block views? I stayed only at POP and AKL and there was no view at POP even if you did hve something nice outside, as everything was blocked by the corridors.
Can someone help me picture the POR better since I'm staying there next month.

Thank you for the pictures, but I'm still confused. It looks like the view are through the corridors. I guess, Im trying to find out if it's worth asking for any particular view or if I should just ask to be closer to the main pool. Even a parking lot view doesn't look so bad across a corridor, as long as it's not right under your window.

Not sure about that - I've only been to Disney once before. I didn't even think about that but maybe it would be worth it to be near the main pool - you have me thinking now.
The corridors, if you want to call them that, are pretty open. POR is our favorite moderate resort, so I've stayed there enough so I can say with confidence that if you get a water view, you get a water view. I stayed there in November, and we had a nice view of a fountain in the midst of a courtyard. No worries, it's nice. The more coveted views would be of the canal. Try and get one of those.
Thanks, Bensmom. Since we will be staying at the resort and not doing the parks, I'd like to get the best view possible. I was thinking it was like POP and there was really nothing to see out the windows.
