POFQ has new air conditioners

 I would like to know that to. We like the noise from a fan at home. So I hope you still get that kind of noise from the wall unit.

Our family can not sleep without noise so we ALWAYS travel with a sound spa thingy. I have heard them called several different things but ours is also a alarm clock and was around $20. We love it and never go anywhere without it. It's pretty small so it's easy to pack as well.

GE is having huge problems with their entire 'Zoneline' system.

The big selling points of these units is that they could be programmed in advance to only cool to a certain temperature before they shut themselves off, thus saving any hotel line a lot of money on guests that just set their a/c's on 'max' and left them on all day on that setting. Not only that, many of them have a central infra-red remote system that allows a central location, say, a front desk, for example, to manually turn the units on or off without being any where near them.

I'm not sure if this is for certain the set up that Disney chose, but I would imagine that it is.

That, added with the fact that these units could sense body temperature in the room and turn themselves off when guests left made them a very appealing package.

Just one thing.

They don't work ! :lmao:

Well, they do for a while, but they are so subject to breakdowns that can't be fixed I'm guessing the brass at The Mouse is having fits.
