POFQ Fire Pit

Can someone give me a few details about this?
Is it every night?
Is there a specific time?
Are there mostly small children?
Are they roasting marshmallows?
If so, do we bring our own?

It is actually a campfire, not a fire pit like at AKL and Kidani Village.

Here is the info from the POR/POFQ website/official thread.

Enjoy stories and family sing-a-longs while making your own s’mores around an evening campfire. There are two campfire locations, Riverside’s “Campfire on de’ Bayou” is behind the Muddy Rivers pool bar on Ol’ Man Island, just next to the children’s playground while French Quarter’s “Cajun Campfire” overlooks the Sassagoula River from the courtyard just behind building 6. The events are free, and optional s’mores kits (including Graham crackers, marshmallows, chocolate and sticks) are available for purchase for $7. The campfires are lit around dusk — at 7:30pm during the summer months and as early as 5:30pm in the winter months, please see the Recreation Activities Schedule page for current times.

Here is a pic of my DD at the POFQ campfire. They did do give out sticks and marshmallows for you to roast (free) and you can have as many as you'd like. Adults were able to participate if they wanted, and there was a mix of kids ages. It was a hit with my DD! Have fun!

Awesome! I've been away from the DIS, so this is new to me! Another more reason to love staying at POFQ!! (POR as well!)

We just did it last night--it was at 6:30 and there was a mixture of kids and adults. My 4 year old granddaughter really enjoyed it!
