POFQ cancellation

We just cancelled a POFQ ressie for Oct 6 - 10. I know they were fully booked so if someone wanted to stay here you may want to try to call. They may already have a waiting list but it can't hurt to try. I almost feel guilty cuz we cancelled Disney to go to Universal instead . Believe me, it wasn't an easy decision but we've been to WDW many times and only to US/IOA once when our kids were 3 & 5. They are now 8 & 10. Hopefully we won't regret it!!! I'll be posting some dining cancellation on the restaurant board too soon. Oooh, I hope we didn't make a mistake!

Oh, you did not make a mistake. We did IOA and Universal 2 years ago and had a blast. I would give one piece of advice, stay on property to get the Front of the Line pass. You will be able to do so much at the parks by staying onsite. It was amazing how well that worked. I know the prices are high at their hotels, but worth it!

Thanks for the vote of confidence Okiemom! We have a room at Royal Pacific Resort so this will give us the fol access. It was a bit more expensive than the planned Disney trip but hopefully it will be worth it. Our one and only Universal trip was when my kids were 3 & 5. Now they are 8 & 10, which I think is a good age for US/IOA.

OH it's worth it!! I love RPR!! It is very South Pacific! If you like the Polynesian... you will also like RPR. It is very nicely themed. You can pool hop to HRH and PBH. Just show them your RPR room key. You can take the boat to get the other resorts. This is an excellent resort. And CityWalk is just around the corner, just a 10 minute walk. FOTL...excellent benefit for stay on Universal property.

We stayed at Hard Rock, but want to try the Royal Pacific next time. I agree too, City Walk was great. In fact we ate most all our meals there, the food was excellent, much better than the park stuff. Have a blast.
