Hi,
We just returned from a stay at POR (love it) and visited POFQ to swim for 1 morning but didn't get to wonder around the whole resort.

I was wondering if the different sections of the resort look different or do
they all look alike but with different paint colors?
We are going back next Sept. and thinking of stay there because I always like a different vacation experance for each trip.
The pictures all look so beautiful of the resort.

We have no bldg. preferance but have only read about advice for closest
bldgs. I want to know about the rest of the resort bldgs.

Also, was wondering if anyone who stayed there felt like they had to go
to POR for the food court to get a varity for lunch or dinner? how did you get back to POFQ (boat or walk?) Thanks for any advice.:goodvibes

We stayed there last year, but never really used the food court and we never got over to POR. The only time we did use the food court was to buy and then fill our souvenir mugs. It did seem like it was pretty small.

I'm pretty sure all the buildings were pretty much the same. It is a pretty compact resort, so nothing was very far.

And we did enjoy the boat ride to DTD.

It's very nice and hubby said he'd love to stay there again, which from him is pretty high praise. I'm the one who wants to try different resorts.

I stayed POFQ last year and POR this year. Hands down I prefer FQ. As far as I could tell the buildings are the same except the way they are positioned. The food court was fine to me. I didn't like the one at POR. Due to overcrowding and cold food. I'm not a fan of pasta and mufalattas either. At FQ I did mainly only eat breakfast. But they did have some good selections for lunch and dinner. I would recommend the boat ride unless you just like to walk. POR is so big you might get tired depending on where your room was there.

For us POFQ just felt more comfortable. More cosy I guess.

If you were at the pool you can see all 7 buildings from there.

Really this place is that small and wonderful.

This is our resort of choice when not staying on our DVC points.

When we went to POFQ it was great! We were in bldg 3 1st fl and we walked out of our room and to the left and there was the gift shop and the food court. The food court was very nice and the food was good and the people were so friendly. Make sure you try the beignets:love: They also have a boat that takes you to Downtown Disney. You can walk to POR in about 10 minutes or less. It is a very big resort compared to FQ. It was a nice walk to here and nice looking but we liked FQ for it's size and it's nice to get on the buses first.:goodvibes

I love this resort. It is so compact and quiet. The pool was not crowded. The foodcourt has a small but nice selection for breakfast and lunch. Dinner could use a little more variety, but only had breakfast there. It was not crowded, but even with the small amount of people it could get a little noisy. The walk to por was about 15 minutes at a slow pace, but very scenic so the time passed quickly. The boat to dtd was very nice. Overall this is a very quiet, relaxing resort that is very friendly to its guest.

POFQ was a wonderful resort to stay out. The year we went I was very very sick  and we stayed at the resort alot. My Ex is an extremely picky eater but had plenty of variety in the food court. I am a more adventerous eater and I was very pleased w/ what they had to offer as well. POFQ is very very small compared to all the other resorts but that is part of its charm. Every building is not only within 'walking distance' to food and bus stops but the walking distance there is teensy compared to at other resorts. POFQ is a great resort and you will love it.

We enjoyed our stay at POFQ. We were in building 1 which was the furthest away from the food court, but it was a couple minute walk at most. The resort was beautiful! We loved the boat ride to DTD. We ate breakfast everyday at the food court and it was good (especially the beignets). We had dinner there once and it was okay. We liked it so much we're going back there next year and staying at POFQ.
