How long is the ride and where does the boat dock to unload?

We want to go to Disney Quest on the Westside. Does the boat unload there? I am traveling w/ a friend who has recently received Interluken therapy and she is having a lot of pain in her legs, thus we are looking to minimize extra walking. I could drive over to DD or take the boat if it is convenient.

When we were there in December, i think it took maybe 15 minutes. But i wasn't watching the time, i was enjoying the scenery. It only docked near the Rainforest Cafe. My husband took my boys to DQ and it was a long walk! I would drive or just take the bus I *think* the bus stops at the West Side also.

The resort boat does unload near the Rainforest Cafe. You can board a 2nd boat at that dock that will take you to the westside. I am not sure what times this boat runs. It may only operate in the evenings.

Sometimes if you get a good boat driver, they will stop at the west side, but the boats that go directly to the POFQ will not pick you up there. The walk from the rainforest cafe to Disney Quest is a long one.

Thanks you so much for the information! I think we will be driving over so I can drop off the group as close as possible. :sunny:

When we were there, they stopped at Rain Forest, then onto West Side, but don't know if that's what normally happens from POFQ.

The boat that you catch to Westside after being let off by Rainforest Cafe starts running at 4:30 pm. I think it runs until 11 or midnight. It would be best to just take the bus to the westside from POFQ if you are going early in the afternoon.
