POFQ best room location?

We are going end of Oct. and wondering what's the best location. Taking the 11 year old twins so maybe one close to pool and dock and bus stop as we will be without a car? Thanks!

I would suggest bldg 5 or 4. You will be closer to the food court, bus stop and pool and the water taxi. We stayed in bldg 3 and didn't find the walk too far from anything. We are going back there again in August and I am requesting non smoking, 3rd floor bldg 1 facing the courtyard. I think this is the most prettiest bldg and has the best courtyard view. Though it is a little bit far from the food court, the strolling along the quaint street will be enjoyed. Enjoy!

We stayed here last Oct. It was the first mod we have ever tried, and we loved it! It is so pretty there. It is also the smallest mod so the walk anywhere is not far. We were in building 5, on the top (3rd) floor. It was a short walk to the food court, the pool, and the dock.

Don't forget to try the beignets -- they are great!

We were in building 3 last time and it was just a quick walk over to the food court and pool. POFQ is so small, I don't think you'll be more than a couple of minutes from anything.

I really do not think there is a bad location at this resort.

5 & 2 are both close to the pool. Two is close to the boat to DTD and in front of the playground too. Have a great visit!!

Anyone know if buildings 2, 4 and the top 2 floors of 6 are still smoking? That is what allearsnet says but I wasn't sure if that was pre-reno or not. Building 2 looks perfect for us, but our littlest guy cannot be around smoke. Thanks!

We stayed in Building 4 top floor corner room last May and liked it very much, but as the others have said the resort is small enough that nothing is very far away.

Stayed in building five, second floor, courtyard view. Close to bus stop, pool and food court. Keep your eyes peeled for roaming bunnies in the courtyard in the evening!

This resort is eons removed from the value resorts and seems actually closer to the deluxe ones!

We stayed on ground floor of building three over by the parking lot and there was no noise at all. We were second room from the end, so no one walked by. The walk to the food court, bus stop and pool were not long at all. I would definitely stay there again.

My family and I have stayed at POFQ 2 times in the past 2 years. I think every location is good! We stayed in building 6 on the 2nd floor the first year and in building 8 on the 1st floor (corner room) last June. Both were quiet and peaceful. POFQ is our favorite resort!!

I do not think there is a bad room at this resort... We have stayed on both side Port Orleans and French Quarter.. Our rooms were very nice and view was very good
