POFQ Adjoining Room Question

So I've looked around and couldn't find any answers. We are a family of 6 (DS5 DS15 DD15 DD15 myself and my mother) staying at FQ at the end of August and we reserved 2 rooms. I was curious if anyone knew how many adjoining rooms they have there? We have to have a first floor as my mom isn't able to walk any distance anymore. I am worried about not getting adjoining rooms. And with 3 teenagers I am a bit worried Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I believe you are talking about "connecting" rooms.

All of the rooms in all of the resorts are adjoining; but not all are connecting.

If you want connecting rooms; make it your only request and they will try to fulfill it, depending on how busy they are that week.

Also, POFQ has elevators in all of the buildings, so you don't necessarily need a first floor room; you could request close to elevator.

I would call and ask. Usually they reserve those rooms top priority for people with only one adult and several children under 18. However, there are lots of adjoining rooms, so as long as you are not as picky about the building itself, you should be OK.

We requested connecting (definitely ask for "connecting" not adjoining - adjoining just means nearby) and ground floor and got both. Remember that if you arrive and you don't get what you would like, you can always ask to be moved and explain the situation. Usually if you're super nice to them, they will try and accommodate you if they can.

I have also seen advice NOT to do online check-in. Wait to check in until you get there and repeat your requests to the CM who is checking you in. I think that way you have a better chance of getting what you need.
