Hey podcasters! Thanks so much for all you do to put on such a great podcast every week. I've been listening for many years, and I really look forward to your reviews and commentary.
As you may know, the first runDisney half marathon weekend in Disneyland Paris is scheduled to be held September 23-26, 2016. There is a great deal of excitement about this race, and many of us are using this as an excuse to make what might be a once in a lifetime trip to Disneyland Paris. As you know, planning for a trip like this can be daunting. Many of us have started researching travel options now in order to set aside enough money in our travel budgets to make the trip work.
You guys did a great review of the DLP parks a few years ago in conjunction with your ABD trip. I would love it if you could do a segment discussing planning/budgeting for your first trip to Disneyland Paris. A few questions I'm currently researching that I think others would be interested in as well:
--What are the best hotel and transportation options?
--Is it better to buy a package that includes tickets, or can you usually find better deals buying lodging, tickets, transportation a la carte?
--What are the best hotel option for various budgets?
--Are there off-site hotels or other options (e.g., Airbnb) that be better for travelers on a budget? Or is it better to stay on property to avoid costly transportation?
--How many days should we plan to be at the parks? (especially if this is a once in a lifetime trip)
I think this segment would have broad appeal beyond just runDisney fans, because there are a lot of people who would love to visit Disneyland Paris, but feel like it's just too far beyond their budget. It would be great to hear the podcaster's input on these and other questions about planning a trip to DLP.
Thanks again for all you do!
