I did 3 miles today. First run in 10 days. My knees are creaky! :sad2:
I did my first run yesterday. I felt very heavy and sluggish. It's been abut 2 weeks since I've really run. I took time for a week because of my back, and then I didn't do much before the Muddy Buddy. I'm ready to get back in the swing of things.

I'm hoping to run today, gotta shake this head cold first.

Paul, we need you to craft the First Sergeant Prep for the 2010 Muddy Buddy workout.

I am thinking it would be something like Boot Camp. :thumbsup2

I like it, I could use a good plan!!

That 5K on Castaway Cay doesn't count? I was drenched after that!!

I haven't done anything since I've been back except yard work. It would be nice to keep up the training.

About 5 years ago I had arthroscopic knee surgery. Too much softball umpiring. I did a lot of weekday league games solo behind home plate and running out into the diamond everytime the ball was hit was strenuous. Although my knee is much better if I push it too much it lets me know about it. I prefered tournament games much better. At least 2 umpires (plate and bases) and much easier to manage.

Wow, ADP as an umpire! Did anyone spit on you for a "bad" call? :lmao:

I agree that staying active is the key! We need the Launchpad11B Training Program. :thumbsup2

I keep forgetting about the Castaway Cay 5K. I really liked that. Yes, I was drenched after that too, but it felt good. I really liked being able to explore the island on my feet.

Agree, it was nice to stop and start and look around also. Thanks for running with me! I'm not sure I wouldn't have turned around a lot sooner if I was on my own.

Thought crossed my mind too when I saw Frank coming back the other way.

Yea...There were times I could have used Paul to back me up.

Paul would subdue them with his pinky. He probably would just have to look at them and they would go away kindly. :lmao:

Hi Aaron,

First of all I'm delighted to have met you, Kim and Anna. Hope we cross paths again (at least before the next podcast cruise). Your pictures and report were right on. I enjoyed reliving the cruise. My best to y'all.

Hi Val,

It was a pleasure meeting you and Jeff as well. You make a great couple. I hope our paths do cross again before Dec 2010. Wasn't Drink Around the World a lot of fun!
Kim, Anna and I send our best to you both. See you soon.

P.S. Maybe you could join us in chat tomorrow night.
