Beautiful, sunny skies here.

Blooming things in New Jersey made my allergies make me miserable. Same thing back home in Maine. I am losing sleep and not functioning well durinng the day. Yuck!

I hope you feel better

Oh, I wonder what that is :goodvibes No doubt something awesome if the Podcast team are behind it :thumbsup2

Happy hump day all :cool1: got an easy day today (for my brain at least) the training was very exhausting despite just sitting there :rotfl: I'm not used to concentrating for 3 hours plus :faint: But at least I'm a bit more educated :thumbsup2

I am feeling a little bad for the people who can't go on PCC 2.0 - Teachers, families with children in school, people lacking funds.
I hope our taunting and teasing does not get to be so much that they end up being too very unhappy with us.
We can bring them along as flatties!

I kinda felt this way about MouseFest 2008. I got really jealous and almost, almost stopped listening to podcasts talking about it (not just DIS UnPlugged). Then I heard about and saw all the fun people were having, and I knew I had to go to some sort of DIS party/function/meet.

I'm glad I did. PCC 1.0 changed my life. And every time I see a DISer, it is like adding icing/frosting on the cake. Or whipped cream on the pie, if you prefer.

WOW!
I just nmoticed that I have been posting for two years. I started in April as I was planning a trip for December 2008.

I didn't start posting in a big way until around a year ago when I discovered the podcast threads. It was around the same time that I started sneaking into chat.

Almost a year ago is when I signed up to go on a cruise with people I never met!

And I just noticed that on my ticker the ship is getting much closer to the island with the sand castle!

Mine would be closer, if I didn't keep switcing it..;)

Figured out how to attach photo. Photo is a few years old, but shows whole family (and DS (light coat) before he got sick)

Happy Wednesday! I get to spend most of the day cooking today as we won't have much time for dinner for the rest of the week. I want some half decent options to toss on the table within 10 minutes.

And I thought we were going to have to wait until after the ABD trip for any serious taunting to begin! :goodvibes

I LOVE surprises. Good ones at least!;)

Not a happy story. 2 1/2 years ago DS at 17 was going to college, just got back from 100th International Scout Jambo, working on finishing Eagle Scout, active at church. Got sick (MSSA-cousin of MRSA), had heart valve replaced, had massive stroke/CVA. Drs didn't think he'd make it. All ths left him in wheelchair, unable to move, or speak. Uses eye-gaze computer to communicate (look up locked-in syndrome). Welcome to the new 'normal'.

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Haven't posted in awhile but I see planning and developments are getting underway....yay! Only two more cheer competitions for my girls and then I can surf posts in the evenings and weekends with no issues :goodvibes

Looking forward to more detailed planning.

Happy Wednesday, folks!

We went and took Bluebonnet pictures this weekend west of Austin, TX. It was absolutly amazing!

I do but when we couldn't make DAP it was still fun to see what everyone got up to (and to help Pete locate Dave Parfait from the UK :rotfl:)

I'm very happy to have a flattie or two - it's a great way to start conversations and I got some cool pics I may not have 'asked' about if it weren't for my flat friends :thumbsup2

Really suprised we got taken to CA - I've always wanted to go :goodvibes

I'm so sorry to hear this  that must have been awful to go through. I hope you are all coping ok? I think it's amazing that people with such severe disabilities (I hope you don't take offence to that word) can still communicate.

Happy Wednesday!!

I'm trying to figure out what to have for lunch. :confused3

Those pictures are beautiful. I love the pics of the kids in the middle of the flowers.
