I am soooo mad right now!!!

I just tried to upgrade to iOS 4 and LOST ALL MY APPS!!

This is my first time booking a cruise...previous cruises have been booked by family members. So newbie question: If my stateroom is in "Guarantee" status...what does that mean? How soon will I know my stateroom number?

We booked GTY on our last cruise and were assigned our cabin number about 6-7 weeks before the trip. We booked 12GTY and were upgraded to a 9.

We're such a fun group that I don't think that we could possibly scare away the newbies!!!

We're all a little crazy but at the end of the day we're all friends and we know how to have a good time. I've been pretty lucky to make some lifelong friends thanks to these events like DAP, MF, and PCC 1.0. I am very proud to call this rowdy group my friends...heck, I even met my BFF through here! (Hi Jen!)



DH isn't a Disney kinda guy, but he has fun when we go. And he does post here every now and then (usually when I tell him too) under the screen name of Rhett972.

You forgot the all important step - Back up your apps before upgrading.

Howdy DIS wife! How's life these days? How's my "brother from another mother", Phillip doing?

Phillip says hi, Paul. I was showing him FarmVille the other night and he was disappointed that your farm didn't have a shooting range or anything "cool like that." When I explained that these things weren't available, he said that is definitely a flaw in the game.

I was listening to my iPod in the car on the way home from my weekend trip. Unplugged it from the car, brought my weekend duffle, etc. upstairs. And now I can't find the little green iPod!
And I have downloaded some really good podcasts!

Hey guys! I'm stopping by to introduce myself. I'm Christy and I just signed up for the cruise. I'll be traveling solo. I'm very excited. It has been at least five years since I've been on a Disney ship...much too long. I thought what better way to rejoin the ranks but on the Podcast cruise.

Okay, so now that we're booked, time to get to know these 700+ Dis people i'm gonna be cruisin' with! Well, my husband will be with me, but he's not one of us But hey, at least I talked him into going!

my DH isn't one of us either...but he is being slowly assimilated in small doses...usually over dinner.

I am having an adventurous night at work so far. Another small fire in the office - the old 9-1-1 monitor this time. Luckily the guys are in the hall when these things happen. We were able to ventilate the room without too much hassle. This is my 3rd one so I should be done now eh?

Shelly...are your apps still listed in your iTunes? Matthew says that you have to reselect which ones you want to sync into your phone...not sure if that's the case or not, but just passing that bit of info on in case it helps!

I did. And the bottom of the inside of the washing machine!

My iPod was hiding on the kitchen table under the napkin holder. Right next to where I found my car keys this morning.

The iPod is now synced and ready for tomorrow morning's walk.

Time to listen to Kevin's restaurant review!

OK. Before I do this - tell me how to "back up my apps" so I don't find myself in the same boat.

Dodie, iTunes forced me to do a full backup (mine took 3 hours!) before it would install the actual update. It should also try to do a backup when you connect your iPhone to your computer. I am loving iOS4 so far! Good luck on the upgrade.
