Hi. We won't be at DLR until around 2pm (spring break week - Monday). I think we will be really tired, but still want to try to squeeze in some fun!! I want to do POD (330pm), Pixar Play Parade (PPP?) (515pm), and end with DEP (845pm) followed by bedtime! I know that POD ends near the entrance on the first run, does anyone know what time it usually gets there and best place to watch for a quick exit back to DCA?

Also, any ideas about best place to watch DEP for a fast exit? Does it run toward the entrance or away from it? TIA!!

For POD, where does it start? I wonder if you could watch it near the start (Fantasyland? Tomorrowland? where does it begin) then get over to the monorail, take that into DTD, then enter DCA through the Grand Californian?

For the Electrical Parade (the DEP, yes?) it runs from back near Jumpin' Jellyfish to the front at Sunshine Plaza. You can watch it "first" then leave if you wish, either walking casually behind it, or skirting off to the side and going around Grizzly, to leave through the GCH or continue on and leave out the main gates. Gates would make more sense since I think you just posted about staying at the Carousel, LOL.

re-reading...

Of course if you're just getting to the gates of DL at 2...could you get back to the start of the POD in time, without frustration? Maybe it would be best to just watch from the very end. Have someone stake out a place while others shop or get snacks...just hang out? It took to about 4pm for the POD to be past the Plaza Inn restaurant on Saturday, though I think they did start late. So that's a bit of a wait, but there's so much to do and see! I found it really nice on my little trip this weekend to just stop and smell the roses, so to speak, when you first get there.

Thanks!! I love the advice about watching DEP at beginning so I can sneak out!! I'd rather walk farther in less crowds than fight crowds anyday!! Thanks again!!:goodvibes
