Pocahontas Sightings

I have a 2 year old niece who is absolutely in love with Pocahontas. She is going to Disney World for the first time this fall. I would love for her to meet Pocahontas. Does anyone know where we could find her? It would make her entire vacation! Thanks!

She is usually over by Swiss Family robinson Tree house. That is were we saw her this summer.

She and Meeko were doing meet-and-greets near the Swiss Family Treehouse at MK when I was there earlier this week. I've also seen her a lot at Rafiki's Planet Watch at AK. She also has her own live show at AK as well.

Last year we saw her in front of the "hat" at MGM. It was actually or first and only sighting of her.

Make sure she sees the Pocohantas show in AK she would like that too.

On recent trips, I seen her by the entrance to MGM. On prior trips, we always seen her by the Big Hat. You can also ask at Guest Services where she will be appearing on that day - Guest Services is usually helpful with a character like Pocahontas, who does frequent appearances.

My daughter got to meet Pocohontas and Meeko outside the entrance to AK.

She is Almost Always at Rafiki's Planet Watch in the Animal Kingdom - If she is a "Must-See" attraction, I'd recommend there! You can usually check with Guest Services at the park entrance to make sure that she is back there (and what time too!).

We saw Pocahontas at the Rafikis Planet Watch section in Animal Kingdom. There is a large building past the petting zoo area and there were tons of characters in there.

There was also an amazing rainforest interactive thing where you go into a small room, put on headphones and you can hear rainforest sounds. The lighting mutes in the soundbooth, and air changes.. it was very fun.

We stumbled upon Pocahontas on the little path just after the bridge to Frontierland (oh, I hope I am remembering that right) that leads to Liberty Square. We were trying to find a shortcut to the Christmas Shoppe...which we did...and lo, and behold, there she was just waiting all alone. The park had been open about an hour or so and she and the CM with her told us that we were the first to find her! Of course, she might have just come out...I realize that they aren't out all the time...but it was completely deserted back there...my DDs got a lot of time with her all to themselves.

Thank you so much for the information! I've never seen Pocahontas on previous trips. I was afraid she was a rare character. I'm so glad that I was wrong. My niece is going to be absolutely thrilled to meet "Poca". I can't wait to see her reaction. Thanks again!!

We saw her and Meeko in the plaza outside the main entrance to AK. Of course, there were several other characters in the plaza as well.

Regardless, always ask guest services where and when your characters will be available.
