Pocahontas Pin

I don't usually post on this board, but I was wondering something. The Pocahontas 100 Years of Dreams was released at the Disney Store today and I was planning on geting it, but I couldn't make it over to get one. Is there any chance the Disney Stores may still have some tomorrow or am I out of luck?

Finding one at a TDS would most likely rank as a miracle. Most stores were short shipped on this pin, I think.
Your best bet is probably going to Pinpics. I see several people are willing to trade this pin.

Thanks for your responce. If chances are slim it will be there, I'm not going to let it ruin my weekend. After all, it's just a pin. It's just a tad agravating. The first piece of Pocahontas merchendise out in ages and it gets snatched up before I could get one. Oh, well. Guess you can't get it all.

A couple suggestions.

First of all, you should probably call your local store(s) and see if they have one, rather than go running around on a wild goose chase.

Secondly, you might want to post your need here -- well you sort of did that already, didn't you? -- because someone on this board may have a spare. You probably want to give the board a day or two to respond. Sometimes people pick up pins for friends, and then the friend doesn't need the favor, and someone unexpectedly has a spare. On this board, we only charge cost (plus tax & shipping), so this is a good second choice.

Thirdly, we have seen many of the short-shipped pins turn up in the stores about 7-10 days later. I guess they're having production and/or distribution problems.

Fourthly, you could try the trade and sale boards at dizpins.com.

Finally, except for pin #1, I believe everyone has been able to track down whatever they've wanted of the other pins released to date. It just may take a little hunting and a little patience. I guess that's really what pin collecting is all about.
