For those who have done the ride since the changes, on the boat Barbosa is on, there is a guy in the middle who pops his head up. I was unable to get a good look, but he appeared to be the balding bumbling pirate in the movie. Does anyone know if that is him or not?
My hubby and I thought they should have added those 2 pirates in the village scene somewhere. They were generic enough they would fit with the ride and yet be amusing to those of us who know the movie.
I admit i do miss the last pirate scene where the different ones are playing in the gold. I LOVE Capt Jack and that is a great rendition of him, but there was just something cute about the old version I preferred in that spot.

does no one even know what i am asking? no comments, never seen the ride?

I havent been on the ride since the changes. I am exited to see them! Can you tell me about the entrance? When I was there like 6 years ago, I reember having to walk down into what seemed like an underground dungon or something like that. Is that how the entrance is?

I haven't been on the revised POTC yet, but am excited to see Capt. Jack Sparrow.

My question is...Where's Will Turner? Althought I love Johnny Depp, I love love love Orlando Bloom!

Not sure who you are thinking it is...Barbosa or one of those two crazy pirates? I was on this attraction several times 2 weeks ago...

I haven't been on since the changes, but I'll be there this Thursday for a week & half so I'm sure I'll ride several times & I'll do my best to answer your question. pirate:

He's not the pirate from the movie, it's the same one that's always been there. I thought it would be a great idea for them to use the two of them though, I even mentioned this to my friend when we were on the ride in Disneyland. I would expect that Disney would have to negotiate for the rights to use the likeness of any actor before they could use them in the ride though. I have been on both the ride in WDW & DL since the changes were made. I kind of wish that Jack's first appearance was of him riding his boat up to the dock like in the first movie. But the way they did it is great, it doesn't take anything away from the original attraction.

The one I know is Barbosa, but then there are a couple pirates that stick their heads up above the cannons (that they are shooting) I think, the one is the balding bumbling pirate, but haven't read anyone mentioning him as being added, so was curious if we were seeing correctly or maybe it is just a generic pirate?
Keep your eyes on the target and let me know what you think.
Barbosa's boat, above 2nd cannon9I am pretty sure it is 2nd)
