PO French Quarter, where to sit out with pool closed

Hello: I know the pool is either closed or closing at french quarter, and for those people who just want to sit outside but not swim, is there some area with lounge chairs available while the pool area is closed for refurb?

I doubt the pool area will be open, so the answer would be no.

but, I know there is a grassy area to the end of the hotel. I think that they should set up some temporary benches/chairs for people to sit and enjoy the river (I know there are some already existing along the sidewalk by the river)
