And Tig..I went over to the wound tight thread to find my pool boy but before I could I came across that horrid ostrich/emu picture. That's almost as bad as Ash's 'hamster'! Love the pool boy....but I think if I was to put him in my thread as my pool boy there's a very good chance I could be arrested!

I had a surgical procedure yesterday that will end my monthly torture
I found out more about plantar faciitis
I bought the most ugly pair of shoes and found out that they're comfortable
I found out how yummy cherry cordial and caramel kisses are!


Yep, I'm a little loopy right now. Ablation yesterday, vein stripping today. Lots of percocet for me!

about a month ago, I noticed a painful spot (about the size of a pea) in my left foot. I knew I hadn't banged it, so I kept an eye on it. About two weeks ago, it spread to be about 2 inches long.

Called the vascular surgeon and got in the next day. I caught it so early that it only hurt with pressure, but the next day, the pain exploded. Saw doc again last Thursday and he scheduled surgery for today.

This is my third clot (DVT and another one last year), so I catch them very early. Still have to have them taken out.

I earned a week of lounging on the couch with the laptop.

I never saw that until someone pointed it out, but now I sure do see it! And trust me, if the shoe fits, I should try it on and wear it!

Tonight we got a call from some PC company. Turns out that someone got our credit card # and tried to buy something online from them. They became suspicious because they used an e-mail address that's been used for before in CC fraud so they didn't put the charge through and contacted us. We contacted our CC company and there were other charges. What a pain!!! Don't know how they got the #--we are careful with that sort of thing.

I got an e-mail back from SAndcass and she told me I could cut and paste it here so I'm going to do that in the next post.

Hey ~ I know it seems crazy. And I don't think I've been spending too much time on the Dis. But my DH is really upset. Last night he went to bed and I sat here for about 20 minutes to check my email & Dis messages before coming up. He felt like I was choosing my Dis friends over him. I know it's unreasonable. I know I deserve to have something to do for myself. I really enjoy chatting with you guys. It is a good distraction. But we've really been working on our marriage lately. I have to use the phrase "Would you rather be happy or would you rather be right?" I need to save my marriage. And I know this ONE issue isn't going to make or break my marriage, but it's something I can do to make an effort. And show him I care.

Last time I posted about him being upset by the Dis he started reading all the messages I'd posted over the last 6 months. And he keeps asking me about everything I've ever said. He's offended by the pool boy jokes, even tho I've never once joined in on that. He's upset by the time we posted about making money talking on a 1-900 number. He doesn't think I should have posted our pics online, or said what town we live in.

I know this is crazy. I hope you don't judge my decision.

BTW ~ I do think I was balancing my life. I am an extremely devoted mom, I am a highly sought after daycare provider, my home is kept clean, laundry is done, meals...... well, I hate to cook, but my kids are fed, I promise! It's just that my DH says I shouldn't be "wasting my time & energy with strangers" when he & the kids are here and need my attention.

So, anyway, that's all. I'm glad you wrote, you have my permission to copy & paste this into a post if you want.

Thanks for thinking of me. And again, thanks for the laughs & distractions these last few months. You guys are a great bunch!
