 Paige. That is why I so do not want to be "that parent". I know how hard teachers work and how much they care. I hate to complain and try to only advocate for my kids when I think it is really important. As an admitted control freak with high expectations of everyone--especially my kids--it can be hard for me to sit back sometimes and let them fail. Especially my oldest one.

Not to add anymore pressure to you, but do you happen to have one of those spellers you told me about that you could throw in your bag to bring? DD's teacher seems open to any options that I can provide to help her out, and I don't like anything that I found at the teacher supply store.

Glad you reminded me! I'll grab one. :thumbsup2

Um, I can't remember which one we talked about, I have 3. :confused3 I'll just bring 'em all.

Great Sharbar!

And sorry Myst about Myster.

Poor Teo

I guess I should check dinner.

I'll be back later!!

 Phew....I'm pooped.
What a day. After work I went and ran some errands, picked up med meds (other meds) some nice new panties from VS, halloween stuff, etc.
Then I got a call from the olice department. Why does my heart sink when I see their number on my caller ID? LOL

Anyways, it was a very nice officer following up with me on that kid that was in my house back in August. They cannot press charges. I told him thats ok, we gave up. Not your fault but we know how the system is now. I told him I believe in Karma and someday it will catch up with him (the kid).

Well, today it turns out was that day. He was escorted off school grounds today for possesion, possibly intent to sell. Like I told the cop in our conversation I honestly hope that this time they will send him away instead of extending his probation and getting his wrist slapped. I don't wish this on him to be mean but so he will hopefully finally get the help he needs. He's 15 years old and going down a bad bad path. He neds help now while he's a juvenille instead of when he's an adult and the consequences are far more serious. The cop agreed and said he wished the courts saw it this way too. He asked if we have had any more problems, which was very nice of him.

Shar! Great news on Kelly!!

OK, off to do some cleaning. DH is coming home afterall so I must adjust my plans. See you all later!

4s, I hope they are able to do something with that kid. You're right..he needs help.

I'm getting ready to bring Ben to driving school and then go to part of Zach's baseball game. Might be a little nippy out there, but I'll miss Saturday's game, assuming they win tonight and have a game on Saturday.

Safe travels to those of you leaving today! See you in the blink of an eye. Not quite, but it sounds good.

Ash, you around? I'm going to buy your baby some books, but I wanted to know which if any board books you already have. :yay:

See you all later. :wave2:

Um, I can't remember which one we talked about, I have 3. :confused3 I'll just bring 'em all.

Thanks Paigey, you are the best!

Shar, great news on your dd! Best to be home anyway so she doesn't risk nasty infections and can be surrounded by the familiar.

My corned beef has been in the crock pot most of the day and still doesn't seem cooked. It isn't falling apart. I am thinking it will be dinner tomorrow and we will have to default to chicken nuggets or fish sticks tonight. :headache:

Both. Myster had a sonogram today on his leg. The vein closed but he is feeling like something is pulling constantly and he can't walk properly. The bruise doesn't seem to be going away either. He wasn't able to see the surgeon today because he got stuck in a surgery. So they told him if there was no improvement by the beginning of next week to go to the hospital. There is also now 3 clots in his leg. 1 full and 2 partials. Looks like some broke off of the large clot.

We need to get to the education classes/support group etc. for the gastric bypass but insurance doesn't cover that part of it and it's 110.00. We don't have 10 extra dollars right now.

I have an appt. with the gastro tomorrow and have to make a follow-up with my pcp to talk about my bloodwork.

I think that all the new stuff.

Myst! I got your package finally!!!!
what was it:confused3

Wishing you all a great time!!!!
bless your heart! :flower3:
A quick fly by to tell some news.....

Hi! :wave2: We had dinner, and we're going to carve pumpkins in a few minutes. That should be fun. The upside to that is yummy pumpkin seeds. :yay:
