i covered 2 departments by my self for the entire shift.

thatand since sales are low.. all our part timers are down to 12 hours a week... full time is being schedualed for 38 so we dont go over..,. and they wont increase coverage till our sales numbers come back up. for some reason the last month or so our numbers are down , but itsstarting to catch up. we havent been as far below budget as we were the last few days.

It's just a slow time for retail all around. My mom and nephew both work retail and it's been slow for them too.

Your guys are lucky. When our sales go down, our part timers go to 0-4 hours per week. And sometimes even if they have 4 hours they will let them show up, and then send them home

Morning everyone...sneaking on before the start of a busy busy weekend.

I don't follow baseball anymore. I used to, DH and I used to go to O's games all the time, even when they were stinky. Then the O's got rid of a player who had a sick kid who was receiving life-saving treatment at Hopkins and replaced him with Albert Belle...we washed our hands at that point (it was a last straw kinda thing). It's kind of sad. My DH was a huge baseball fan...knew all the stats from all the way back to the early days. Now he wouldn't go with free tickets.

Me? I'm a HUGE football fan. I like pro ball, DH likes college ball.

I have bad cramps this month...they actually woke me up with sharp pain last night rather than cramping...that's a bad sign. I think that by tomorrow I'm going to be laying on the floor moaning....well, I don't have time to lay down, but I'm gonna be walking hunched over.

Angel...that was very deep, I liked it.

Press..like the shell. This year when we went to the beach we had a really hard time finding any shells. What beach in Ohio did you find that one at? I've driven through Ohio...there are no beaches unless you count Lake Eire.

OK....I'm off. I was so hoping I'd get a call about my laptop yesterday...maybe today.

GOOD SATURDAY MORNING!

I am actually going to make it to the gym, I havent been in about 3 months and you know getting there is always the hardest part.

Lara I found the shell on a beach in Boca Raton, FL. It was actually on the fourth of July. I keep meaning to take a closer pic of it but somehow never do. Its on the list with other silly things like laundry.

We are football fans here to. I am not a huge football fan but DH sure is. He likes both college and pro. I like Da Bears (believe it or not) but the Pats are a close second. DH likes the Pats and the Giants. For college he has a whole bucketfull of favorites and I just dont get into it.

I work pt at Ann Taylor and it has been quiet there also. The calm before the storm that is the holidays I guess.

Why can't my DH make a decision?

I asked him if he wants to do Busch Gardens this October for their Halloween activities.

I found a reasonable room rate, at at hotel WITH an indoor pool. Gotta keep the kids happy.

The room is actually cheaper on the weekend that we can make it. Gotta make the bank account happy.

But will he tell me if he wants to go?(doesn't he realize he has to make ME happy???? )

NO. Now if I just book it....I wonder if he'll whine about it later....maybe I'll just leave him at home then

Ok...my whining is done.
