I'm trying to do stuff with them this week, since school starts next Thursday. I am also working on the school fundraiser, which has taken over my life, so not much time to post. I will probably have to move in alone, yes. I mean, people will drop my stuff off, but dh will be gone I think. If you stayed one night in this hotel, you'd know why that thought doesn't bother me in the least.

Hi Lara! Blood drives are loads of fun, eh? I was dreaming last night that I was trying to give blood while getting a tattoo and a piercing, and I was irate that they were telling me no. I had intended to go donate this week, but then dh blew up his engine in his truck, making us a one-car family until he decides what he wants to do about it.

I can't believe my kids are still sleeping. Probably because they were up at 4 for an hour and a half.

Hi everyone,
it is too hot to even take the kids to the park or sit outside and do my own thing. The heat advisory started at 7AM and last till 7PM. Yesterday it was still 100 degrees at 8PM. Right now its 96 degrees but the heat index is 103. The high today is 102. The heat index will be 110 by the time it reaches 102. I hate being stuck in the house when its too hot to go anywhere. Kids go back to school tomorrow and one still needs a pair of shoes. Maybe we will go out later when I can breathe outside. I cant believe the kids have to go back to school in this heat. High tomorrow is 104.
