Do the messages have to be new threads to count towards the 10 count. Mine shows 3 messages but I know I have replied more times than that

No, any messages you post on any thread count. Are you sure you've clicked the "Post reply" button every time you've posted?

Another thought - if you are posting on the "Floataway Lounge" forum, those posts don't count.

I looked back at your posting history, you do have a lot of posts. But I'm thinking the posts on the DVC forum may not count either.

OK, in looking at the DVC forum this is there (bolded so as to stand out)

Please do not do so in the rental threads on this board as those posts will not count towards the required minimum.
