Do you need a friend with similar goals to be accountable too? Well for just that reason I am willing to host a PM buddy sign up! This is how it works, you PM me the information below and I will match you up with another WISHer with similar goals, eating plan, etc. Then the two of you use the PM system to encourage, motivate, challenge and report in to each other.

If you are interested in a buddy, please PM me the following:

eating plan
exercise goals
weight loss goal


I will see how the response is, but at this point I'll plan on keeping the sign-up open for a week and sending out your buddies the later part of next week.
 
This is a great idea Molli. I really need to find my "mojo" again. I have gone down the slippery slope after BL was over. And still working on the wapsadi challenges. I've not been horrible, but I haven't stuck to my goals like I should have.

Hi- I am interested in a weight loss buddy too. I want to lose 38#. I'd like to by July 07 (our vacation at Disney this yr)but I think that may be unrealistic.

I have done weight watchers before and I did lose weight but I got really tired of counting points and planning what I was going to eat that day. I'm in the 40ish age group, mom of 3 (11,15,and 18), working mother, I work 3rd shift *I'm a nurse*, so my sleep and eating patterns are the pits. My husband and I recently joined a 24hr access gym and I have been going almost everyday when I get off work and walk 1-2 miles on the tredmill. I have an appointment with a personal trainer later this week. (boy, I really hate paying people money for information on diet and exercise- I got all this information in my nursing education) I kinda do the weight watchers thing with my diet but mostly just try to eat less and move more.

Anyway, hubby has lost 15# so far- yea for him: Me- I started working out and I GAINED 2#- WHATS UP WITH THAT!?

So if you are like me and have found that after 40, you dont have slow metabolism - it just doesnt exist at all and french fries are not your friend - lets help each other stay on track for maybe not a skinny me but a healthier me.
 
I sent pm , thank you! My difficulties are exercising daily, I just get lumpy and figure later later later and needless to say the day is over! I am also very bad with the H2O?? I drink tons of hot tea and need to rreplace that with the water but its sooo chilllyyyyyyyy!!!brrrrr!
 
is this one more WISHer who would like a PM buddy for extra individual accountability and encouragment :)

right now i have 5 so either there will be one group of three or i'll wait a day and see if anyone else signs up.
