I have not been to see the mouse in almost 4 yrs -but am finally going back!!! You creative geniuses where soooooo helpful last time that I thought I would see what you could come up with this trip. We are doing 11 days and I am almost done with all our outfits BUT ,as usual, dressing Daddy is the hard part!!
Last trip we had TONS of comments and the photogs loved our themed outfits-thanks to you all! I beg for your help once again

I am in need of-
***a Triton shirt for Daddy for our mermaid day. I was thinking of something with him and maybe a saying of 'these are the daughters of triton' and maybe 2 arrows pointing to the sides (since we have 2 girls)---or is this a wee bit corny I am open to ideas!!!!!
*** a great shirt for Daddy AND the 8yr old girl for Villian Day! I am open to anything!
***Snow White shirt idea for Dad. I have a store bought dwarf shirt but am not loving it
***IF anyone had a free moment (hahahahaha) I would love a trip design for The Ackerts take on Disney for our resort window.People cracked up at our windows last time-again thanks to you all!!!

'Thanks folks' seems a wee bit harsh
I didn't realize I was upsetting anyone-it was not my intention.I posted this thread and had many views but no responses so I thought I should ask on the disigners direct thread.I would have edited this to show it was not needed if I had a disign made. I do not come on here to upset you all and wish you knew that.I am a happy Disney-loving momma and this just seemed kind of negative.

The comment was not meant to be mean. It was intended to explain the rules of the boards.

The problem with the request is that it was posted on the main board, then on my thread and then on another designers thread.

As a designer, I try hard to make sure that every request is completed and when the design is requested on multiple threads, it is disappointing that I do all of my work, while it seems that the requester is "shopping around"

These designs (especially custom designs) take a lot of time and if we are doing double the work, it seems wasteful to me.

I am sorry that you thought the response was harsh. It was not intended to be. I love sharing my passion for Disney, designing and to make people happy. I am truly sorry that you are upset, we are all just trying to make people happy.

Please remember that the How To Sticky (and a couple other stickys) are there to help you understand the rules. I know when I was brand new I read the stickys before I posted.

Understand that duplicate requests are forbidden for a reason. DISigners do their creations on their own time and out of the goodness of their hearts. It isn't fair to have multiple DISigners working on the same things without any knowledge that their precious time may be wasted.

Don't be upset, the only thing that they are trying to explain to you is this,
You posted this request on a few of our threads. What if, take the triton request for example, we all decided to do this for you, each one of us spending hours on it, just for you to only pick one of ours. Thats wasted hours that the other disigners have spent to designing something you will not use. They are just trying to make sure this doesn't happen.
