For those of you that have already helped me, thank you. I have gotten more clarification from my DS 6 on his choices, and I need more help.

His only request for a character meal is Pluto. We are going the week of Dec. 20 - 26. My question for you is which character meal, preferably breakfast, will
1. provide the best character interaction for DS 6
2. will be the least hectic/crowded (if possible :rotfl: yea I know, it's Christmas) given the time of year
3. not be ridiculously over-priced because DS will likely eat only fruit
4. have decent food (higher priority for the adults, but it isn't about us - but you do like to get decent food given the price you pay)

TIA. I don't mean to be difficult. I just want to make the right decision.

Ohana breakfast would be my suggestion:

1. the character interaction there is great - especially Pluto & Stitch who are hilarious + you will see Mickey & Lilo as well

2. the food is good (mickey waffles, fruit, eggs, sausage, biscuits, bacon, etc.) and it is served family style

3. it is usually one of the more reasonably priced character meals if my memory serves me correctly

4. it has a more relaxed atmosphere than some of the other character meals

I agree with the previous poster. The other option for you is Garden Grill which is a dinner at Epcot. The meal is good and the character interaction is wonderful. It will obviously cost a bit more because it is a dinner, but like 'Ohana it is a family style all you care to eat meal. The characters there are Pluto, farmer Mickey, Chip and Dale. If you don't already know much about the restaurant it is a very slow moving revolving restaurant that shows scenes from the ride Living with the Land.

For the things you are looking for 'Ohana seems to be your best bet. That would be my first choice, but if for some reason it is full when you book at least you have a back up choice. Good luck to you! :goodvibes

Pluto was at Chef Mickey's when we were there last Dec.
We ate dinner, don't know if he is there for breakfast.

Yes, Pluto is at Chef Mickey's for breakfast & dinner along with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy & Donald.

We vote for the breakfast at 'Ohana. While Pluto is at both 'Ohana & Chef Mickey's, the character interaction at 'Ohana seemed much better. Pluto actually had a tickle fight on the floor with our kids. He also had a biscuit wedged into the back of his mouth - leading us to think he'd been goofing around at other's tables too. At CF the characters mainly just came & signed the autograph books and posed for pics.

I would say Ohana breakfast. It is a must for us every vacation. The character interaction is great. We really like the food as well.

I also say Ohanas--for the food, atmosphere and character interaction--
all are great. Chef M seems to popular and is very loud. Eatten at both.
We've eatten at Ohanas 4 times and each time the characters do not seem rushed. Plus I like the Family Style dining--it's all you care to eat and you don't have to get up--they bring it to you. No other person breathes on your food (don't care for buffets).

I also say 'Ohana. Pluto is a riot at this breakfast. He spent a lot of time at our table - and we don't have kids! The food is really good, and it is family style. I think during a busy week like Christmas, it'll be less chaotic if the food comes to you. You won't have to worry about getting up and getting the food. Have fun!

After talking to the Grammy going with us, we're leaning toward O'hana even though we're staying at BLT. I know my son will see CM and want to eat there, but I think the family style will be more to his benefit. Thank you everyone!
