Pluto’s Pajama Party Pillowcase...washing??

I would like to wash the kids’ pillowcases from Pluto’s Pajama Party before they use them on their beds. Does anyone know what kind of markers they used to decorate them? Are they washable? Will washing them take the color right out? Just need to prepare the kids for their lovely artwork to wash away if that’s the case.

No idea, but if they used fabric markers, the best thing to do is to put the pillowcases in the dryer for 15 minutes to 'set' the color, and then wash as usual. You could test a small area by just putting some water on it to see if the color bleeds at all--washable markers would likely immediately start to bleed.

My oldest decorated a t-shirt in Vibe on our Alaska cruise with fabric markers--after doing what I listed above, her shirt is still good 4 yrs later!

We have washed ours many times (without any special precautions) and they were fine. Shouldn't be a problem!

They use fabric markers(I asked). Washed with no problems.

You could use Crayola washable markers.They're washable, which means they're less messy and easy to clean. When my hands get dirty when I'm working on my crafts, I get irritated quickly. Fortunately, they don't leave any stains on my hands that are difficult to remove. I'm not bothered by it either. I also don’t have problems washing my clothes, even when they were stained with these pens.

My son's pillow case is 5 years old and still going strong!! (Though I do feel like some colors are starting to fade a bit).

Also washed many times over the last 2 years. In the beginning I made sure to turn them inside out have not done that in a while!
