Good day. I will be visiting both parks next week for the 1st time. What rides might a plus size person have issues with? :bounce:

I am plus size and was uncomfortable on the Men In Black Ride.

I was fine on Spiderman though.

Cannot really remember anymore, sorry :(

I'm fat. Lets just call a spade a spade here. I have to use the fatty seats on HULK, and Dueling Dragons. I have to squeeze into Dr. Doom and am somewhat cramped on the suess skytrolley. Everything else, I'm golden. Plenty of room for my fat butt. Basically it rolls like this, if you have no problems on stuff at disney you will no probs with stuff at Universal...except the coasters....but if I had to guess, you're going to stay away from the coasters....call it a hunch. If you dont, they will have a few seats that will accomodate most sized people.

:rotfl2: I spit out my coffee and was hysterical laughing at this. The kids are off today so I called DD#1 over and asked her where there were "fatty" seats on the HULK....she said "yeah, they are in the center of the 4th row I think". :rotfl2:

I had no problems on Spiderman, but trying to get the lap bar down on the JPRA with a twig sized DD#2 next to me was a bit tight.

I went to Sea World and US in California... and I had no problems at all at Sea World.... but I found that Jurassic Park was snug.. the lap bar, I mean. and Mummy the ride too, again with the lap bar. Let me tell you that it is a lot more fun on the Disney rides, there's a lot of room to BREATHE on their rides... I'm still going to US and IOA this year, but I don't know how much fun I will have there, not looking forward to the rides.... but the rest of family wants to go...

Lets throw some figures out here. I am 6 ft even. 270lbs. I have a big gut....thats about it. I can fit fine in JPRA and so can my wife who is also "large"....but shes larger in the chest, naturally. I can squeeze tightly into a regular seat on the hulk, but only if someone pushes. My wife can not. Now, if I get the fatty seat, I'm golden. And keep in mind that there are differences in USH and USO. And....I stand by statement, if you are comfortable at disney, you'll be the same at UO. Just look for the fat seats, ask someone where they are...I think Hulk its like the 3rd row, DD is on the 6th row on fire I think and 5th on Ice...I think.

Hi Im a tall girl with a big chest and the ordrinary seats on Hulk really squished my poor chest! At least it took my mind of the terror! :rolleyes1

the large person seats on Hulk and Dragons are the ones with (2) safety straps that connect to the pull down bar. If i remember correctly there is one seat like this in Row 3 and Row 6 on both Hulk and Dragons. these extra size seats are out front of the entrance to these rides so you can actually try them first. :smooth:
