Hello!

Can anyone help me with this? I have seen a few posts about being Pooh sized and WDW, but I can't seem to find anything relating to DLP. I'm looking for information on the generousness (is that a word?) of the rides. I have not had any issue with any ride at WDW but I'm new to DLP and would like to know before I book.

Currently UK 26/28 but looking to be a few sizes smaller by May!

Thanks!

Hello :flower3:

I've found you a few threads that you can look through and hopefully feel reassured

hth and I'm sure people will be along with their experiences

I have never had any real issues with my size at DLP (at my biggest I was a 22 bottom and 20 top). There are certain rides that were a little bit snug - Casey Junior, Cars Rally and Aladdin's Carpets - but they were just uncomfortable rather than undoable! I've also never tried to get on Orbitron as I've read reviews that it's squishy for thin people so thought I wouldn't want to risk getting stuck in a rocket!

Although I've lost a bit of weight now I still have the apprehension each time I get on a ride about whether or not I'll fit - but it's always unfounded worry!

I am a short (5'1) size 24. The biggest problem I have is that as I am short my roundest part is where most adults legs are so my biggest problem is getting through turnstiles. But having said that I can always get through without a problem (I just panic I won't. Lol)
I don't really do fast rides but I fit on Crushers coaster, Orbitron, cars and Aladdin fine. In fact there isn't anything I haven't fit on. Never tried Indiana Jones, rock n roller coaster or tower of terror. I am sure you will be fine.
If you have any more questions - let me know.

Hi

I am a size 24 and have a big chest. I have stopped going on cars, as last time I had to take off my coat and jumper off at new year in the pouring rain so my kids could go on, so now give this a miss, I have not tried rc ride, and don't go on orbitron, but have 2 young ones so cannot divide myself I to two, the same with dumbo. I have no problems with any of the other rides.

Just for comparison, if you are from the uk, I have been kicked off at least 3 rides at Alton towers due to my chest size, Rita was one and the other one was ripsaw and oblivion they apologise for having to push the bar down over my chest ( I do feel sorry for them as they always seem to be young guys lol). I take it on the chin, and have a laugh about it.

I think you will be fine. I was worried about Crush's Coaster because of things I read on here, but I fit just fine. I am not a small lady and was able to fit on everything I attempted to ride at DLP, and have never had a problem in the US parks. I rode Indiana Jones and it was totally fine, too. Have fun, don't worry!

Never had a problem and I am a big old guy 6ft and 23 stone. I even went on RockNRoller Coaster or Space Mountain 2.

I was worried the entire time we were in line for Crush. I saw someone a few people in front of me have to get out because the bar wouldn't go down. I made it. It was close though!
