Has anyone seen any in DL? A lot of their clothing seems to go to 2X and occasionally 3X but has anyone seen any larger sizes?

Don't be afraid to ask in the stores. The CM's will know what might come in the larger sizes.
When we have seen the larger sizes, it's generally in the morning and they go fast.
For this reason if we want or need something in a larger size we shop first thing.

Good luck

The largest I have found at DL is 3xl, which is what I wear. Some of the shirts are cut smaller though so even though they are a 3x they don't fit. All of the jackets I have (zip up type) in 3xl fit fine and one is even too big. Also I bought a pair of Mickey capri sweats and should have tried them on because the 3x is way too big on me.

Moral is try things on if you can! Good luck!

Almost never. We've found a handful of 3X and ONCE we found a 4X but it is almost non-existent. Sad.

The biggest I've ever seen is 3X and that's what I'm looking for. It isn't easy to find and most of the time it's not the shirt I want but I have to make do with what's available. I've never seen anything over a 3X.

Almost all of the other women's clothing goes to XXL in the standard sizes. Most unisex clothing goes to 2XL as well. They carry a few shirts in women's plus size up to 3X. They also have even fewer unisex shirts up to 5XL, but they sell out quickly. If you see a shirt in 3XL, ask the CM at the register if they can call the other locations that stock it to see if they have a 5XL. You can also try calling the merchandise line, though they won't have in park availability info, they'll just ship you a shirt.

Have you looked online at the Disney Store? I know there are plus sizes there. Only problem is you really won't know the fit until it arrives.

DL's women's clothing, even the plus sizes, seem to run very small. I'm 'average' size for an adult woman (size 10-12 jeans, normally a med in a tshirt depending on style). At DL I take an XXL!!! Most of their clothes are definitely 'junior sizing'. I think it sucks.

BFF is 'pooh size' and pretty much buys men's tshirts because of the dearth of 3x women's styles. We have had the best luck in women's 3x size at the shop way back in the corner of Critter Country, where the candy shop is. We think most people have already bought things before they get to that corner of the park.

Agree with the suggestion to look at DisneyStore.com. Reading the comments helps me determine which size will be best for me. And it is very true that Disney sizing is not average or normal sizing by any means. The unisex sizing is fairly standard, but the women's sizes really vary all over the place. I'm a S in most brands, but at Disney I can be anything from a M to an XL.

I actually find the Disney store has more true to size sizing than the parks. I recently got an Elsa Women's 2x top and it fit me well at a 20/22.
I know it can be challenging but in fairness I have seen a definite uptick in how many women's options including hoodies are getting the 2xand 3x options. I know it doesn't cover everyone but it's more than it was it 2010 during my first trip.

Really? I'm typically a 12-14, and I've bought DL tops in medium and some even in small that fit just fine. One top I got in a large is actually too big.

You may have better luck finding tee shirts in larger sizes at the nearby Target or gift shops. I noticed they had a much wider selection of sizing than the parks.

It's really interesting that Disney doesn't bother to stock much for larger sizes considering how many people in America wear sizes bigger than an XL. It seems counterproductive for making money.

Makes no sense to me either. They could have made so much from DH if he could consistently find shirts that fit. As it is when he does find nice shirts in 3x they are women's sizing and don't fit a man in that size.

The thing is, they make them! At WDW we will look and look and find nothing. Then go just offsite to a place called Giftland where we will find the exact shirts we just saw, but in bigger sizes. It's so odd. Weird marketing choice.

Well, I expect that has to do with relative height and body shape as well as how we want things to fit (tighter vs looser).

I don't go for tight, usually, and the small and medium ones I have are not at all. The Dolman-style tops, especially.

Eyes it's really interesting that they ignore the whole section of the market. I will look around, and thanks Bumbershoot I will look in Giftland when I am in WDW in February.

now if they would only carry anything in Tall, or just make longer shirts, nobody wants to see those bellies or cracks :sad2:
