I took DD5 to the Perfectly Princess Tea Party at the Grand Floridian last Friday and IT WAS ENCHANTING!!!!!

DD has very short attention span but was absolutely mesmerized the entire time.

It was so worth the cost!

I highly recommend to any mommies out there looking for that special activity to do with a little girl!

I took my 4 yr old daughter there for her birthday. It was very nice! She really enjoyed making Daddy tea and watching Peddles. My only wish is that there be a little more interaction with Aurora. Ours was maybe 60 seconds and then she was off to the next table. The interaction was personal and sweat, just ending before I could get a picture after a short video. I guess the time has to be short since there are so many little girls to get to. My daughter still plays with her Aurora doll and can't wait to go back. Maybe next year.

My DD (4) was not all that interested in the tea. She loved drinking the "tea" out of a cup and dressing like a princess, but she really did not pay attention at all to rose petal and the story. She generally is very good at listening during story time, but since her back was toward the center of the room, she was more interested in what was on the table at the time. She might have done better with the Wonderland tea, given that she is more active and loves to run around. She was quiet and stayed in her chair, just like when we are at restuarants, she just was not all that interested in Rose Petal or the rest of the interaction. I had kind of figured that this was not in her league, but Dh wanted to get this experience for her.

I really thought this would be more for girls around age 8 to 10 and there were a few in the group, but majority were age 2 to 6 in the group.

I am glad to hear positive things about the tea- we are booked for January with our DD4. Are most of the little girls dressed as princesses? That is our plan, but I just wanted to make sure.

Yes I would say 90% of the girls when we were there we in princess dresses.

Did this replace the wonderland tea party?

No the wonderland tea party is still there. This one is for the child and their parent. The wonderland tea party is without parents and not a "formal"

I think the interaction may depend where you are sitting when I took dd she gave her a bunch of attention and came to our table several times one time singing with her baby and snuggling up close to my princess. My dd still talks about this a year and half later.

We went to the tea party on Wednesday and it was absolutely wonderful! My DD is 4 and a little on the shy side, and they read that perfectly. It started with the intoduction of the hostess, Rose Petal, and each little princess was announced, crowned with a tiara, had a photo with Rose Petal and was taken to her table where there was a Princess Aurora doll waiting for her. Then Rose Petal told her story of how she became a princess- lots of singing and fun. She told the girls to open their napkins, and they found bracelets in them. Tea is served- apple juice for the little princesses- and lunch of finger sandwiches, fruit and cheese and Rose Petal entertained more. Then at the time for dessert, Aurora comes in and visits with each little girl and at the end they received thank you notes for attending. They danced with Aurora and it was adorable! At the gift shop they had scrapbook pages and a birth certificate for each little girl. This was very fun and very worth the money! We had a great time and can't wait to watch the video!

What ages is the Tea for? Will my DD8 be too old?
Most girls were probably between 3 and 10. The older girls really seemed to enjoy learning how to properly have tea, while the younger ones were more excited about the dolls. I think if she likes Aurora and would like the Disney princess doll (similar to American Girl doll) she would love it!
